Friendmode keeps its data handling narrow on purpose. When you submit the starter kit request on the contact page, the handler stores the values you typed into the visible fields: first name, email address, studio type, team size, the tools you already use, and whatever you write in the notes box. Alongside those values it logs the submission time, the form identifier, the page language, and the source GET query string from the URL you arrived on. Nothing else is captured, and there is no hidden field collecting information you did not enter yourself.
Submissions are written to a local file at /private/submissions.jsonl on the server that runs this site. There is no email notification, no CRM handoff, no payment step, and no analytics pipeline attached to the form. The record exists so the studio can read what you sent and follow up on the starter kit request. Because the log is a plain local file, access is limited to whoever maintains the site, and no third party receives a copy through this form.
There is no automatic deletion schedule. Entries remain in the log until the site owner removes them by hand. We are not going to describe a retention window that does not exist in the code, so treat the file as the single source of truth: if you want a record gone, ask, and it gets deleted from that file rather than filtered out of a report.
You can ask for a copy of what was stored about you, request corrections to anything inaccurate, ask for deletion, or request the record in a portable format you can take elsewhere. You can also withdraw consent at any point, which stops any further use of the entry. Visitors in the European Union and California have additional statutory rights under GDPR and CCPA respectively, and those requests are handled the same way as any other: send them in writing and they are processed against the local log.
This page does not promise results, endorsements, or partnerships that do not exist. There are no fabricated testimonials, no invented urgency, no borrowed brand names, and no statements of official affiliation with any organization. Toolkit descriptions on this site describe what the files and lightweight apps contain, not outcomes you are guaranteed to get. If something about the catalog is unclear, ask before you rely on it.
